One of my earliest memories that I can remember is my mother taking me to church. I don't think there was ever a time in my life where I was not in church.  My mother made sure she took us to church every Sunday.  One day, I remember going to my mother at the tender age of 6 years old and asking her about what it ment to be saved.  And I remember her taking me by the hand and with her bible in hand, talking to me about God and what it ment to be saved.  I got saved that day sitting in my living room at the age of 6. I was a child and I understood that becoming a child of God was one of the most important things that I needed in my life.  God has placed on my heart to write this blog a while ago, but I did not know how to or even what I was going to say.  But God being the loving God that he is showed me. How to become better for 2026

As we are a few days into the New Year, I want us to keep a few things in mind. We need to Keep God first.                    The most important thing is that we need to make sure we are keeping God first in our lives. One way we can do that is to make sure we are spending more time with God. As much as we spend time looking at social media feeds, we need to spend that time talking to God.     Studying Gods word is one way we can spend more time with him. When we spend time in the bible, we get a better understanding of who God is to us and what he truly means to us. It shows us what God has for our lives and how we can achieve what the calling he has for our lives.  We must take time also in prayer.  But we have to make sure that it is not a one sided conversation.
