Missing Blessings

How many blessings do we miss out on because of our disobedience to God?   God gives us instructions on things that concern our lives. He tells us what to do, but because it’s not what we want to do, or it’s not the way we feel like it should be done we disobey God. Have you ever considered that God tells us specific things to do, because there is something that he is trying to accomplish in our lives? But because we don’t understand we decide to do things our way because it’s is comfortable for us, or we feel like it should be done a different way.   I have learned in my walk with God, that sometimes God gets us out of our comfort zone, because he has something greater for us, but we must learn to be obedient to his instructions.  When we are not obedient to what God says, even if it’s uncomfortable for us, we are outside Gods will and we loose out on whatever blessings he has for us.  Proverbs 3: 5 & 6 will always be one of my favorite scriptures. You are who God says you Are.    You know what I like about the Lord. He talks to us, and he lets us know what it is that he has for our lives. It could be something big, or it could be something small, but he will always let us know what he has for us.    But we always try to find a way to not be what God has call us to be or do what he has called us to do.    As I was sitting here, God reminded me of a scripture in Jeremiah, and I went back and read the first chapter of Jeremiah.    It opened with a conversation between the Lord and Jeremiah. See, Jeremiah thought that he could use the excuse of him being a child when God told him that he ordained him as a prophet.   But God had already let him know he knew who Jeremiah was even before he was born, and he could not use him being a child as an excuse.    Jeremiah 1: 7& 8 says  “But the Lord said unto me, Say not I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee...
