As I was cooking I was scrolling through social media. I like watching the funny videos, and from time to time, I find a good live stream to watch.
Well as I was scrolling one particular live stream caught my eye.
On his live stream, it said “prophecy and spiritual readings”.
First thing that came to mind was "What?" I think I was shocked and confused at the same time. I was about to scroll away, but my curiosity got the best of me. So I watched a little.
Then he said something that made me get off his live stream all together.
He made the comment that he was a prophet and a psychic and he call his gifts his gifts. Among other things that just rubbed me the wrong way.
Another one said he was “walking in prophetic and he wanted to prophecy to the people on the live”. Then he started asking for money for him to speak into the lives of people on the live.
2 Peter 2: 1-3 says “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
Matthew 7:15 & 16 says: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”
