God uses our brokenness to help others

I am going to do something a little different. I want you to take a moment as you are reading this, and remember.

What are you remembering? Well, I am glad you asked.

I want you to remember the time of your life when you truly felt broken. What is that time in your life when you did not see anything but the bottom when you looked up.

You tried to pray, but you could not seem to find the words. You tried to live your life in the way that God asked you to, but it seemed like all you could do was just the wrong thing.

You just could not figure out why you felt the way that you did. You could not understand why your life was falling apart.  All you wanted to do was to try to make yourself feel better.

That, is the feeling of being broken.

That, my friend, is the worst feeling in the world. That is the feeling of just not knowing.

I have had that feeling in my life a time or two. You feel like your life is just torn apart and you can not piece back the broken pieces no matter how hard you tried,

That was the point in your life where you found yourself praying a little harder, and talking to the Lord more, just to try to feel his presence.

Psalms 147:3 “He healeth the broken in heart, and binded up their wounds.”

But the blessing part of it is that God is the only one who can take those broken pieces in your life and piece them back together.  He is the only one who can comfort us and give us the strength to go on.

It is not easy, but the strength that we need always comes from God. But he uses that for us to bless others.

2 Corinthians 1: 3&4 “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

God uses our brokenness to help us understand how to help others.  As the scriptures stated in 2 Corinthians  that he comforts us so we can comfort others. God always uses our situation to help others get a better understanding of their situation.

God wants us to use his example of being a comforter to comfort those who come in our lives who may find themself broken and don't know which way to go.

I mentioned before how I used my testimony of having a misscarriage to help others get through their own circumstance.

That was a time in my life where I was broken, but God allowed me to show others how he got me through that time in my life and how he took my broken situation and fixed it.

We have to understand that everything we go through in life is for God to get all the praise, honor and glory.  God has allowed us to be broken so all the imperfections can be removed in our lives, so God can build us back up stronger, and we are able to help others and show others what God can do for them.

God bless
